Earlier this week I read a great newspaper article about a way a local business owner is helping others. (here is a link to the windsor star if you want to check it out). They are offering (yes, it is on their menu) a suspended coffee. Anyone can go in and purchase an extra hot beverage and it will wait on the coffee shop's tab until someone unable to pay for a drink walks in and asks for it. This all started in Naples, Italy with the caffe sospeso (yes, I am Italian...but I am NOT being biased - you will have to agree with me on this one, this is a really cool idea). Someone up on their luck would purchase an extra drink or two to brighten up a stranger's day. It has now turned into a whole movement with coffee shops all over the world offering it on their menu.

What a great way to make someone's day a little happier and warmer.
